ANU, preferably. I don;t know why, probably because I want to be a politician and federal politics is based there, but also because I like Canberra as a city and I hate hot temperatures.
I hate the heat as well. :)

1) USYD
2) ANU

Tis interesting and fun too!
You get to choose what language you want to major in and you spend your 4th year overseas in a country that speaks that language.

Want to go to Germany of to the US for Latino Studies.
OMG!!I want to go to UTS & Germany for my Int. Studies too!!! I want to go for Communications (Journalism) and Int. Studies. UTS has always appealed to me, it looks very student-friendly and has a nice atmosphere, my older sister goes there currently.

UTS: Communications (Journalism) & Int. Studies...HERE I COME!!!!

Im looking at either UNSW or Newcastle, as they r the only 2 unis that have a surveying course. It depends on my UAI as Newcastle is about 6 points lower.

If you don't mind a move (you'll love a move, actually) ANU is the place to go. Plus, its Law programs need a lot less UAI than the universities here in Sydney, all of its programs need a lot less UAI, actually.

Why not? I know plenty of people who go there, they like it fine.

what if western sydney was your one and only choice for law?
would you not go there just because of what you hear about their reputation?

USYD looks really nice and old-Englandy but I'm liking UNSW for reasons I've yet to know.

Lol Fashion and Design.
um.. what's so funny? :confused::confused:

Just because the course may not appeal to you doesn't mean you have the right to be intolerant and disrespect it.
I want to get into Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication/International Studies @ UTS and the cut-off for that this year was 97.95 and in the past it had gone all the way up to 99 in 2005. Same goes with Fashion Design/International Studies @ UTS (99 in 2003) and Interior Design is very high as well. (94~97ish)
So.. I don't get what's so funny about us aspiring to get into these high cut-off courses........Obviously we aren't alone considering how popular these courses are.

So anyone that doesn't go to uni is what? Will be unscucessful, fails at life?

My point is that I have made in other threads is not every jobs needs you to have a uni degree and not everyone wants to go to uni the perfect example is trades people, chiefs etc who can have very successful lives and be happy with what they are doing without holding a university degree.

What's right for you won't be right for everyone.

I'm sure S1MO was only speaking for himself, not for the wider community Pritnep.
