I actually think the cutoff *would* be alot lower, except they distort it.

They take people besides EAS people who fall below the cutoff if you either

1) Get high marks in english or
2) Submit an application

though, if the 95 takes those two into account, that actually means the cutoff is about 96+ :-|
lol neo I'm sure you won't have any trouble sneaking quickies when you come back during the hols, given what you posted in love and relationships...

I was just repeating what waffy said...yeh I know it sucks being a non syd BOSer. still fuming over your whoop whoop comment mack....

I'll probably end up posting laundry back to mum...

ANU probably has the best asian studies course in the country. Get to study a whole YEAR somewhere in Asia. Wollongong only gives you a pissy three weeks.

At the moment, it doesn't have any wireless internet which is a downside.

mack, what time do you get up to run 2km every day?

I getup at 5-5.30am usually.

Im not sure if ive mentioned this in the thread yet, but ive heard ANU law grads are also the most sought after for politics/government type jobs.

that's very true...ANU puts a greater emphasis on the international side of things..
you can't do law/arts (int relations) anywhere else I think (correct me if I'm wrong)
Ok so to keep this forum on topic and prigs out of here could someone post the cutoffs for all ANU courses...simple cut and past from adobe doc...I would but no sites are working for me at the mo, and I'm not on my comp eithor...
btw kindly refrain from calling me cb, I'll call you jago otherwise.
neo is just jealous because asqy always pummels him within an inch of his life and so he takes it out on me...
OK mack, check your PMs.

1) Asqy has never pummeled me. I believe threads where I have pummeled Asqy have also gine mia. ;)

2) UTS has internat studies and law, probably a few others do as well. ANU has the specialised asian studies degree though, which includes one years placement overseas :D.

no of course not.
ASQY HAS SO PUMMELLED YOU, many, many times.
oh yes, I forgot frigid's uni...the cutoff is 98 or something though, less doable than ANU.
plus, ANU is in canberra, which is the place to go if you want to go into diplomacy or int relations esque stuff.
that what you want to do neo?

i go to anu because it has a major i want to do (that is if i ever actually decide what major i want to do), it has smaller classes, nice campus, it's well known. can't believe i'm saying this (being an i-love-sydney-so-much type person) but there's more to life then sydney and anu is a nice change/environment. canberra isn't too bad at all.

for those of you planning on doing arts (or combined arts) do you know what you want to major in???
I'm thinking french and international relations
international relations or political science.

I'm thinking french and international relations
IR, History, German or Politics.

Two of the above, we'll see how it pans out when I get there.

Why not combine them? You need an 80...

IMO Arts isn't focussed enough for me. Screw flexible majors
oh no but the law is a definite.
so law/commerce or law/arts. if study dramatically improves, law/something or other at a syd uni.
and knowing you, you probably would screw everything in sight anyway.
heh I know omg a. it was horrid, as expected. I'll probably end up doing ext 1 again.
