    Advice for hsc

Your HSC mark is the average of two components: your exam mark and your assessment mark. If the average is not a whole number, then it will be rounded up (eg 85.5 will be rounded up to 86). The assessment mark is a measure of your performance in the HSC course assessment tasks from Year 11 Term...

Capitol punishment should be reintroduced for criminal offences

Yes, I believe capital punishment should be reintroduced, but only for the worst of the worst of crimes ie. terrorism or intent to perform a terrorist act, serial murder, serial rape and espionage. It would be too excessive for the small crimes like theft.

    Well, Bombed out HY exams

Re: Well, fuck The weightings of half yearlies tend to be rather high, so yes, it will have a rather large role in the HSC assessment mark. Don't fret yet though - you've got some more math tests + trials and the final HSC exams themselves to redeem yourself. A LOT of things can change. Here's...

    US Presdential Election 2016

America is NOT a democracy. It's a dictatorship run by a triumvirate (Wall St, bankers and corporate CEOs) which disguises itself as a democracy.

    BUSS1020 / MATH1905 Help

I dont think you need to do BUSS1020. Just stick to MATH1905. However if you enrol in BUSS1020, don't fret if you can't do MATH1905. Just apply for special permission to do something else like MATH1004 Discrete Mathematics.

    BUSS1001-any advice?

The waiver test is to weed out international students with bad English skills. I did it myself but as I'm a domestic student it was really easy. I think the high failure rate is due to the high number of international students AND/OR the 3 hr final exam.

Newbie questions about Year 11 subjects and results

    1) Indirectly. You'll build on concepts learnt in year 11 though, so don't neglect that stuff! 2) No. Year 11 only affects your entry into extension courses. I did rather poorly in year 11 but I did well in year 12. Still got 98.1 ATAR.

Split it up into equal parts. Post it on Fb and ask the people which ones they want. If nobody replies, assign parts. Tough luck if they get a part which they hate.
