    O week

But they give girls an old Grazia magazine which I haven't touched in the red bags, surely that makes it worth it. I was disappointed in a lack of pens, I haven't bought any and was hoping to pick some up.

    Cafs a bludge?

Honestly, CAFS is a bludge. I studied for one night, while at a dance rehearsal, for the test and I got 96 external, 93 overall. It was definitely the easiest subject as alot of the knowledge is just common sense. Learning statistics, terminology and legislation and applying it to the common...

UNCLE "I got an offer" 2009 Thread

Yep, I'm doing speech pathology this year. Getting an offer wasn't too exciitng though cause my friends mum who works at the uni already checked what offer I got. It's still good to officialy accept it though.

    Lower Aligned HSC Marks

I'd have to agree its a bit rediculous, someone at my school got a band 3 in religion for just doing the multiple choice. I mean, the most they could have got raw was 20%, I think the board should just give them a fail mark instead of just trying to make them feel better. At least they still get...

subjects u did which didnt count, did u regret doing it?

All my 3 units of maths didn't count. I expected ext. 1 to not count (only got 35 in the end), but I always thougt biology wouldn't count. I screwed up 2 unit exam so I only got 84, same as biology. I still thought that biology wouldn't count because I thought an 84 in maths scaled higher than...

    Exam Thoughts

I thought the test was fairly good. Before the test my friend said jokingly "They're going to ask about environment and time. Most important concepts ever." I laughed when I opened the paper. I did Popular Culture a), uaing examples from surfing and Pokémon because it was a general question...

    what you think easy yer??

Easiest CAFS test ever. Essay questions were exactly what I had hoped for/predicted (except I expected the parenting and caring one to be about parents and carers not just parents). I wrote so much, stuck to my time limits even though I had so much more to write about groups in context even...

    not studying for CFS?

Your teacher must mark easy because there is no way you could write in enough detail to get those marks in 2 hours.

    Revision Forum HSC CAFS 2008

Parents could take advantage of flexible working patterns if available at their place of employment, such as part-time work, job sharing and telecommuting, and if there are two parents these flexible work patterns could be arranged to maximise time with children and availability to take them to...

    not studying for CFS?

I've just started studying about 5 minutes ago. I have a dance rehearsal monday night so I have to be all prepared before that! I agree that its boring though, especially going over research methodologies over and over again studying for SAC and CAFS, not that I've studied for the SAC HSC exam...

    Werid ass dreams haha

Well this wasn't really a dream, but when I was extremely tired one night jsut before exams I decided that it was very important that to succeed in the hsc, I must learn the Pokérap off by heart, and begun to listen to it repeatedly on my ipod.

    Parents?

Re: Something that made you say "my parents are so naive" My mum asked if we did our exams in the hall or we did them in classrooms. I just laughed for a while and then shes like "Well do you?"

    Those little things...

A supervisor from the school certificate who looked like a man was back, she distracted me through the sc so now shes going to distract me through the hsc. Also, another supervisor was leaning against the wall, scanning for hands going to be raised, kept going to move when she thought someone...

08 HSC Students - Are you 18 yet or not?

Not 18 until the end of January, which is annoying because being 18 during the big holidays would be vrey advantageous.

    Swearing In Essays?

My teacher said that is was okay if we were quoting from a text and the quote was relevant to a point that we were making, but not otherwise.
