woh... unfortunately not offered at my school... but i would bet most people sort of accelerate themselves ie...complete alot of the course in their own time.

but does this also mean that once in yr12 the maths exam need not be completed because it had already been done in a previous year??
Yeah - but most people will repeat it to better their mark.

I do accelerated maths and mx1.

I am getting myself cloacked with pile of maths past papers.

97-98/120 will get you about 91.
lyounamu... doi u think that a raw mark of 97-98 out of 120 would give a mark of about 91???

do u know any websites which have shown past raw marks and there equivalent final marks???

internal mark does not account foranything excpet rank- so need to know rank.

but the rank then determines an internal amrk, averaged with the external mark

So wat can i expect to get then with my raw mark my ranking of 4th and a predicted 95% in the hsc
then u can expect 95 unless they predict 95% in ur exam which is 114/120 which wud b high 90's

I'm a current Year 12, did 2U and 3U last year at a school somewhere probably around 70-90 in the maths table. Forgive me, it was so long ago and my memory is a little hazy, but as a rough guesstimate I would have had 110-117/120 for 2U and 77-81/84 for 3U. When I sat HSC, was 1st in 2U with average about 95% and 2nd in 3U with average about 88%. Final results were 97/100 in 2U and 49/50 in 3U.

If you're planning on a 97-98% result in your externals at a top 40 school, I assure you that you have nothing to worry about.

accelerants have a very big advantage, as they sit one or two exams. But i bet u'll find some that arent accelerant there. Im hoping for a state rank, been averaging from 114(2003 past paper)-118/120

Yeah, that was pretty damn hard in comparison other papers. My mate apparently got 120/120 and got 1st in the state for that in 2003 as an accelerant. Doing that paper, I wonder how he could get 100%...I got 116/120 :( (silly mistakes on the last question...working error)
