I am dying in Year 12 (and the HSC) right now. I've never done real study in my life until now. So I neeeed a massive list of positives to keep me going.

- FREE PERIODS
- Year 12 Common Room
- Final Year
- Licenses
- 06 JERSEYS (or jackets)
- Canteen privileges [walking in during periods, front of the line]
- NO compulsary SPORT
- Time to come and prove ourselves has finally come (after 13 years)
- No more English after this
- Leadership positions/roles
- More RESPEK

Keeep adding moree...

Also help point out the positives of the HSC (compared to, for example, VCE)

This is more of a privilege but being able to use "study for the hsc" as an excuse to get out of something other than school. :D

yeah, that's a great one. :)

also you tend to get more in school privileges as well eg common rooms and stuff, plus the teachers tend to be heaps nicer to you, even the ones who seemed to hate you in junior years.

You get alot more respect from the teachers, and all the students in lower years will look up to you and we should take on that responsibility and act like leaders. ;)

Another positive:

If you put the effort in this year, it could set you up for the rest of your life. Alternatively, put the effort in now and you won't have to do it again. Ever.

Better toilets?

- Year 12 privelige in the canteen line, we get to go to front :D:D
- Use the common room, teachers lounge
- No sport :D:D:):)
- Everything we do this year won't be a waste of time, i.e. it actually counts unlike other years
- We waited 13 years for this time to come and prove ourselves, and it has finally come
- After this we can forget about the English :D:D

Sport is optional at our school, but i choose to do it to get a bit of excercise and stress relief from the hsc.

- Awww we have better toilets (well the girls have the "senior bathroom") since we're 70% girl ratio kind of school...its an old boys toilet with plants in the urinal and skylights, a queerky place
- Senior study area + airconditioning and nice chairs and the ROUND table of equality :p
- No compulsary sport
- Leave on Wednesday arvos at 1pm...instead of sport...but thats when my Hist ext runs
- Respect from teachers
- Able to buy stuff from canteen at any time of day, yay.
- Free periods.
- Still figuring out this common room..hmmm..ours is seedy.

dont know about you guys, but i always thought toilets were a given.

a given?
well considering the fucked up ratio of boys to girls 30:70
the girls get an extra toilet facility to cater for us lovely seniors...which is nice...
