I was hanging out *cough* with a guy around New Year's who was 25...I'm 17.

Eh.

Obviously age is not much of an issue to me.

But I wouldn't date anyone older than that.

Hey
honeslty.
age isnt important in the world these days,
simply because age isnt a big worry.
if you really enjoying being with that person
then age isnt anything.
but also it is just the way you look at it.

well i think that age shouldnt matter because relationships aint about age are they ? ?
relationships are about love and if you love a person no matter how much older or younger they are it should never matter :)

thats not really acceptable, imo
young girls like that have no fucking idea what theyre doing, let alone running off with a 27 yr old?
but say you have a 20 yr old going off with a 40 yr old or something, thats not a huge problem
theyre both mature enough to make that decision

dw its okay for 16 yr olds to run off with 25+ yr olds.

cause you know, these guys understand you. rofl.

honestly i can't fathom any guy 20+ going for a sub 18 yr old, unless they're lagging behind the social progression as you're about to finish uni etc. etc.

Unless they're like 5 years old.

it matters to a point its wrong guys in my year go out with people in year 7 thats wrong because all they want at this point of time is going out drinking and having sex these girls are like what 11/12? their 17/18 that personally is wrong though.
an example a girl in year 8 just had a kid the father was one of two guys in year 12.. hmm poor kid.

My last bf was 21 and i was 16/17 at the time.. that was wrong though cause he was an asshole who mentally abused me :(

She could have just as easily been carrying the kid of someone her own age. Also - that's a huge generalisation of the males that age. It doesn't just work out as "little girl, Michael like, Michael fuck", does it? :|

Anyway. I draw the line at those aged 16. Any younger and I don't think it's acceptable to date anyone more than 2/3 years older. From 16 onwards the range can be extended to 4/5 years older. When they reach "adulthood" they can make decisions for themselves. Exceptions are, of course, those who are more emotionally mature than others their age.
