my dad's been doing it for like 15 years

during the busy season he gets up at midnight and gets home at 6pm

my old work started normally 7am so I had to get up 6am to get there, but they decided to pave the car park, and since nobody wanted to stay back, they got their around 1.30am and started to pave it, asked me to come and payed me $50 an hour till about 9am, I wasn't even tired and got the money cash in hand

Once I had to get up at 4:30am to get to an Officeworks shift. Never, did I request such a roster again.

same same. i reckon getting to a 9 am classes is bad enough, haha

i work at a convenience store and have to open the shop at 5am some mornings. it is pretty early but then i finish at 12 and still have the rest of the day and have already done 7 hours at work.
