USyd's system is much easier...
They do have plans available when you go in to enrol, and if it's a standard degree (such as one from the engineering faculty) then you have no real choice regarding subjects anyway. Most of my mates from the engineering faculty were in and out within 20 minutes, while I spent close to 1.5 hours enrolling for a course from the science faculty (45 minutes of which was spent sitting down trying to determine the units that I should take).

therefore, if u c someone on thursday, holding up the line- then its prolly me selecting subjects from scratch. :p :D

for me, its under the heading 'undergrauates units of study' in the faculty handbook

here all the topics for your course is shown, and at the bottom of your subject, there are the electives and a brief description of what it is :)

dude i have no idea
i think u pick the elective that u want, and then they work out ur time table and they make sure you do all the course u need to do to do your elective

(did that make sense? LOL)

im sure there will be someone to talk to on enrollment!

you can always change ur elective later one... if u do change ur mind.

what degree are you in "freaking_out"?

on the day, you will most likely be given an example a structure of the degree. it will point out the CORE units and the electives...

copy the CORE units down, and just pick your electives from your faculty from the 1000 level units.

thats what i suggest. then go home and read up on your degree structure...you can always change it later.
