Theres so many backdoors into university. I would just use one of them. Tafe would probably be the best option. Hopefully it won't come to that though.

suicide???????????? come on ppl, we only live once. Most of us will live till about 60-70 year old. so why make our own exciting and unpredictable life even more shorter??? i am expecting UAI between 65-75, so apart from Uni and also applied to TAFE. yes university is better than TAFE but i dont have a choice. i want to do B Commerce(Marketing) @ UNSW or Sydney but UAI is too high and i dont want to do transfer from some shitty course. so i applied to TAFE for Business(marketing). at least i am not wasting a year.

i am pretty confident that i wont get my first preference course, mentioned before, but i think i can get into my 'backups', where i have the opportunity to smoothly transfer. :)

My choice was: Acturial Studies, or ... gee didn't think that far. :p
I was never going to get my parents to full-fee it. I'd probably have done some other course and transfered.

There is way too much importance put on the HSC and getting a sufficient UAI and most ppl dont realise there are other ways of getting in and doing you want to do . suss out your options and dont worry so much xoxo
