If you were going to do that, make it multiple options allowed. There is the possibility of multiple mods being added if needed.

Just keep in mind that this poll wouldn't be conclusive.

I have actually drafted and submitted guidelines to Laz recently for regulating the news/ca/politics forum which I think are quite fair. I would be interested to see what people think of them... but I can't post them yet... Certain things are in the works at the moment, so approval of them may or may not happen. Anyway wait and see :)

Enshrine some eligibility criteria to make it interesting, like only open to people who scored a Band 6 in either Modern History, Economics or Legal Studies.

I think perhaps there should be a concencus amungst say... asquithian, moonlight, xayma, generator to promote people to a sort of political rank, like the "benefactor" status..
Just to let people kno this person is someone who's regulary posting worthwhile stuff in the political forum.

Then regulars in other threads would demand similar rank in their threads, and we'd have a sprawling bureacracy with meaningless titles assigned to every member. I think am attractive decoration or Symbol the Council can put in their sig would be enough.

Lol NTB, Xayma is a much safer rightist than you.

Regarding the discussion on free trade, well there's a difference between free trade and fair trade.

A good book to read is Globalisation and Its discontents by Jospeh Stiglitz.

And yeh, this post is probably one which would get deleted but i'm too tired atm to delve into a debate free trade and fair trade.

In my News & Pol forums, I wouldn't delete threads. Threads would delete themselves.

FOUR YEARS OF RORIX.
(as my running mate I nominate neo_o)
(preference deals to be disclosed)

No way, everyone knows that no one controls spam!

What good is spam if no-one can read it?

Only if I've studied Year 12 Economics and we have a proportional tax system, and quote a lot of definitions.

Like magniloquent \mag-NIL-uh-kwent\, adjective:
Lofty or grandiose in speech or expression; using a high-flown style of discourse; bombastic.

Labor pary needs to be put 6 feet under and replaced with a real Democratic Socialist or Social Democratic party. Then we may have effective government in this country
