What's the queensland system like? Is it not rank base?
they have an OP rank from 1 to 25.

1 = approx 98-100UAI

or something like that.

but the assessment system is very much internal, and there is a literacy/numeracy test thing by which the marks are graded so as to gauge the standards by which each school assesses its students.

the end result is somewhat easier to achieve.

eg. there is no year long project for practical assessment. and there arent big exams at the end of the year.

there is also much less university competition.
88-90UAI will get you into law, for example, depending on the university.

it's universally accepted that NSW has the most competitive tertiary entrance system.

notice 'competitive,' not the 'best'

Wow OP1 = 98-100UAI? That's a REALLY big range. I was expecting at least 99.8+
How do the syd unis convert it then?

Don't listen to him, if you actually have a disability then you are obviously hard done by. If you are still planning to complain to UAC, I reckon you should tone down the anger though man. Random UAC employee will merely hang up if they hear another bitchy kid on the phone complaining about their UAI. If you're still set on Uni, aren't there disadvantage schemes available for help? Look them up instead of firing up on BoS at all of us. Otherwise get on with your life as it's not going to finish here, but at the same time you can't continue complaining. Good luck mate

Well why dont they get me uai of 66 and get over it?
the job of the UAC is to rank you based on your performance in relation to the rest of the students in the state.

they dont hand out ranks on a whim.:read:
