didnt apply to uk because too expensive + scholarships are impossible

i am applying for harvard and a couple of other ivy's + robertson scholar program for duke

i would've thought you applied as well?

I was going to go for Oxford or Cambridge...not very interested in ivy. But since we are getting a new house, my parents cannot afford the fees and other costs. However, I am definitely considering post-grad there.

oh k fair enough....yeah the reason i'm focusing on us uni's is because of the incredible amount of financial aid.

if you get accepted into harvard, they will never reject you based on financial status, they just get you jobs, loans, scholarships etc.

yep sitting sat - done maths + phys, doing SAT I on saturday

Interesting. I heard scholarships for unis in USA for undergrad is almost impossible compared to the number of scholarships for postgrad they have.

OMG I accidentally logged onto coop...the results are already out!!!!
Conditional offer for Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering.
Shortlisted for BIT.

I AM SO STOKED I THINK I AM GOING TO SCREAM!!!!!
EDIT: Why the hell are the results out so early?! You can never trust coop...

EDIT: I would happily swap this free shortlist and ISM with conditional offer.

lololol i heard he got an interview at oxford

I don't think interviews are selective,

my school sent a girl to Oxford in 2007 (she topped Law there this year)

and my friend is over in England interviewing for Oxford at the moment.

Yeah. I am sure that's how Co-op operates.

can you do commerce (international) or commerce (liberal studies) with co-op?

VERY VERY VERY unlikely. I don't think any co-op scholar is doing that.
