Why shouldn't they?
Stop being such an annoying troll and actually involve yourself in a debate for a change.

For the record, the issue of VSU goes beyond the individual's wallet and poses important questions regarding collective action and support.

Edit: MPs resist Nelson over uni vote

What the fuck are you talking about? Why shouldn't people care about their wallets when it comes to this issue? This is a serious question.

And what are these important questions regarding collective support and action, O wise one?
It may have been a serious contribution, but given what you have contributed to other debates in the past... A simple mistake.

As to the important issues that I mentioned, there's no need to be a little tart and if you bothered to read through at least a part of this thread you would know what it is that I am referring to.

Fielding has indicated that he's anti-CSU, but has not decided where he stands on the bill itself. This should be interesting...

VSU would be extremely popular amongst the populace... both amongst labor and liberal voters. I think it would be wise for labor to try to play down this bill, not make a big deal out of it...

So perhaps if there was government resources allocated to child care / sport for universities, labor would be willing to accept VSU?
...it does accept VSU...however it wants the universitiesto be able to charge an amenities fee.

ANother fee??

That's no surprise, look at NSW State Government Departments, you practically pay a fee for everything, even if you don't use it.
