I did work placement at the place at Bankstown. omg it the most boring place ever. And the filing? my entire hand was covered with paper cuts after that week. It has turned me off office jobs for good.

Retail; Surf Store

Pros;
Discount on clothes :D
Get to see all the sale stuff before it goes onto the shelf :D
Great people, very friendly
Aesthetically pleasing male staff members
lots of fun (most of the time)

Cons;
Too many managers, crazy turnover rate
customers, mainly female, who are vicious with clothing (wreck the displays)
The surf store mentality- trying to remain 'hyperactive-happy' 24/7
sales targets!- forcing the product down the throat of the customer
2am stocktake :mad:
Spending pay on clothes!!

But meh, could be worse i guess....
