Yea the guy gets totally high on maths i would have gone very well in 3u if he was my teacher. funny though he has a MA which is peculiar since most math majors would be doing sci.

well i think arts students can major in mathematics so i assume thats what he did along with 'classics' as that is one of his interests (from his bio). ive got to stop reading lecturers bios lol!

One of my friends is doing arts/law at Sydney, majoring in Ancient Greek and Maths. He wanted to do sci/law, but they wanted him to do physics and he refused...the arts faculty were happy to accommodate him :).

class I skip: maths, got 8 hours per week, I prolly spend a total of 1 1/2 hours there before I get bored and leave. Hmm, but since I dont get the work I really should stay.

well you've got to know your lecturers credentials! Gaudry is a Prof but you wouldnt know that in the lectures tho.

well how i see it if a lecture doesnt help and you end up just reading a text or going to tutorials for answers then dont bother going. Its one less hour that you would have wasted. Ive only gone to the first bio lec and havent gone since and it hasnt really impacted on my marks at all.

oh yeah and the other classs that I seem to miss alot is legal r + w. very boring, and besides, everything we need to know is in the tuts.
