I live by my acronyms, however mine usually involve the combination of letters that dont really spell out a word, more a sequence of letters that I drill. For example, to remember management skills I use: FS-PVP-DEST ... the dashes really dont have significance in the words themselves however I remember better when I learn my acronyms in sequences like that ...

to each their own I guess, but its certainly the best way for biz as theres *that* much content its not funny :s.

Another I have is reasons for international expansion: TIRED TREC, (think tired after a treck .. lol yes, lame, but they work a charm for me ;)) .. many more where that come from but you get the idea (y)

FS-PVP-DEST seems hard to remember... I reckon it's easier to remember it like this
For
Sale:
Perfect
Volleyball
Player
During
Eastern
Standard
Ttime

The second bit doesn't really make sense but you get the point :p

haha acronyms are cute. But they don't seem to work for me. I just see the syllabus in my head.

I like these, because once you learn them you dont often forget them, but doing this for all the parts can be so hard. What i did recently and its really helped my memorisation is read the sylabbus, wrote down the names of each major section to the topics, then tried expanding out ever point in the sylabbus. At first it may seem really hard and stupid, but it helps you memorise everything you need to include in your answer, and because 60 marks are awarded on very narrow questions, it helps you know how do answer it, so lets say they say something about marketting, and the question wants price strategies but you give the margetting plan, you wouldnt get marks, even thoe you may no the content....ok bad example.

Am I the only one who thinks that it's rather odd that we have to memorize the syllabus to go well? I guess everything is self explanatory...
