Nope, all i did in summer sesh was MATH1231, so no idea how my overall WAM went up from 47 to 51.

And supplementary exam eh... i did my main one, not sure if they will let me do again, because i got no illness/misadventure excuse...

but still, 47, i should be given a pc i reckon, fucking 3 of my second year courses have math1231 as a prereq.
My WAM is also not a correct depiction of my average results.

I manually added my results together, the WAM i calculated was lower than the one the uni had.

Did you take into account how much UOC each of your subjects was worth when you were manually calculating your WAM?

Not sure if it applies here, but the science/engineering WAM's in USYD are weighted more towards to the end of your degree. You'd have to check that out first though.

Ah ok i realise why my WAM is higher than my manually calculated one..

For Semester 1 2008, I was enrolled in Engineering / Commerce.

FOr Semester 2 2008, i was enrolled in Engineering / Science.

They disregarded my subjects for Engineering / Commerce in the calculation for WAM.

Interesting.

Did you complete any commerce courses though?

I JUST gotta email from blennefaggot about this, saying that "the School of Mathematics
and Statistics does NOT determine which students get teh grade of PC. This
is determined automatically, based on your WAM."

I still think i should get a PC, who would i talk to? Should i go to the first year maths office and talk to em about it?

It was already stated in the course manual that PCs were not decided by the school of math. I have a fuzzy idea of were it might be decided but I think I might be wrong. You're better off sitting on your ass waiting. Its too late to submit special consideration as well.

Speak to mech eng faculty and ask them if you can still do the subjects which require a MATH1231 pre-requisite.

You may be able to do the courses without that pre-requisite.

Im so annoyed at myself, blennehasset is in a meeting till 1.30pm, so i'll talk to him then.

The lady at first year office said that i cant get a PC because my WAM isnt 55, and i have a bad feeling that blennehasset is gonna say the same thing.
