I'm going to have to go back to All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix...

Simply because Bob Dylan started using his version...

I'm also going to have to say Katie Noonan in Elixer when they did "Goodbye Yellow brick Road" as well as "River Man...

And... an Australian Jazz/Folk group called Stringmansassy do a cover of Sting's song "Fragile" that makes my spine tingle and makes you think and they do a rainforest soundscape at the start with her voice and his guitar that makes you feel like you're in the rainforest... That would have to take the cake.

against me! - wagon wheel. after seeing them ive 3 times i never thought i'd ever hear that song live but at tom gabel's solo show he opened with it and made me tear up!
also jose gonzalez - heartbeats: another song i saw live and cried my eyeballs out to.
i almost forgot! and all-time favourite: janis joplin - me and bobby mc'gee.

Wicked Game - Stone Sour!!!! - The lead singer from stone sour is the singer from Slipknot!!! LISTEN TO IT!
Haven't heard the Stone Sour version.
The Three Days Grace version is alright, skips out a whole section though.
I'm not really a HIM fan, used to be but pretty over them now. But their cover is fantastic.

I Still like the original though.
