Increasing the price wouldn't make me stop it would just make me poorer.

Nothing will make me stop ever.

Lucky for me I never really drank much. Maybe because I'm Asian and don't want to push my tolerance limits. That and I used to have a $5.5k excess on my car.

It's not.
This.

Abuse is a problem

Violence is a problem

Etc.

Just stop shit people from being shit.

No more problems.

Fucking hell, there's no need to punish the rest of us.

I don't drink. Alcohol isn't good for you.
As a substance, it's not usually bad if you know how to handle it. It's not actively good, but it's not detrimental to your health unless you let it control you (alcoholism, binge/overdose, driving etc.).

Someone wrote on this place a while back that alcohol is actually as bad a carcinogenic as tobacco. Dunno the veracity of the claim but they argued it pretty impressively.

They were right. Tobacco is not carcinogenic at all.

This is a brilliant graph.

I also realised I didn't take into account the liver damage, and probably multiple other factors, so disregard what I said earlier.

i dont think the issue was ever that alcohol is as much of a carcinogen as tobacco
but that alcohol causes more death and disability than tobacco and illegal drugs

which has always been the crux of the issue for some faggle pants, because it's cheap, legal and totally destructive

but who cares, who says i shouldnt be allowed to destruct myself
