probs wont be able to memorise that well.. but will try.
Are you thinking of picking up extension history?

I think at my school quite a few people (7) wanted to do it except the school didn't allow it.

Yes I definitely want to! Because you get to do JFK as the topic (as well as that big project) and I love JFK ^_^

So for the history extension major work/project/whatever thing, does the topic have to be related to ancient/modern history? Would it be possible to do it on like 14-15th centuries?

The head teacher didn't want to do it, and rejected my friend when only him and another person wanted to do it saying that the minimum standards of a class were 4.

They got 7 people and were still rejected (unless they're still negotiating even though the deadline has passed)

Oh wow - that would suck heaps.

Afaik, our school can have a max. of 1 class - last year's yr 12's finished with 11 in the class - and all 11 got an E4 :)

I'm pretty sure the history extension major work can be on whatever you want - but I am not too sure.

Hopefully it is! Another favourite history topic of mine is the Renaissance, which you don't get to learn about in Modern/Ancient since its that period in between.

Hopefully I get in though, not too sure if there's a max number of students or if you have to have a certain mark in history.. mine hasn't been the best so far compared to everyone else.

We did the Renaissance in Yr 10 elective - was heaps fun. My interest for it was only fuelled by playing Assassins Creed lol.

Anyway I'm slaving away at parametric equations (though it actually isn't as bad/hard as I thought)

Yes in Yr10 at my old school we had a 10wk history project - I did mine on the Medici family/renaissance purely because of my obsession for AC2 at the time lolol

Haha nice - we had something similar - iirc, I did something to do with the downfall of the British Raj.

Shit my friend said last year:
-I didn't pick Ancient History because I already know everything about it.
-Age of Empires teaches you all about Ancient History

Shit my friend said this year:
-Should of picked Ancient History, I'd get a Band 6 easy. (He's currently doing terrible at all his subjects)
-(while my other friend was reading his ancient history essay) Hey if you need any information for Ancient History, come to me.
- I probably would be in the top 3 if I did Ancient History
