Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides?

I think the Dot Point books are the best! They have a range of subjects for example Legal Studies, Chemistry, Biology, etc. They really helped me study the science topics that I was doing and I received amazing results!

Use Cambridge/Terry Lee for maths
Chem- conquering or Jacaranda
Physics- Physics in focus or Jacaranda
Eco- Your school will probably get either Riley or dixon, get the one they dont give u

This is what anyone would recommend however not so much of physics in focus and make sure to get latest edition if you can! Especially for economics get the latest edition you can as statistics change very quickly every year! for me it is dixon 2013 and riley 2013

Lol, I have In2Phys, Jacaranda and Phys in focus so it doesn't really matter, they all cover each others weaknesses, and phys in focus is pretty decent for me

I think writing your own notes suited to the board of studies syllabus is the best (PEAK Science student right here)

but still... idk I found its been the most hopeful. like the really easy identify q's and shit you've already got in the bag bc you actually read the syllabus (you'd be surprised how many people don't)

Maths my tutor gives past trial and HSC q's in their handout... and even so doing past trial papers is the best practise imo. Cambridge I flick open for the "extension" questions.

and English no idea how to study. any pointers?

But besides that, I have a shitload of textbooks... LOL
- Physics in Focus
- Jacaranda Physics
- Conquering Chemistry
- Jacaranda Chem
- Biology in Focus
- Heinemann Biology
- Longman Maths (most useless shit ever)
- Cambridge Maths 3u

I think I can really say I've read all of them. LOL.

I might bring a USB so could you send the PDF to me as well?
Just send your hawk with your usb.

Someone bring a laptop. Unless you have a parramatta library card so I can actually transfer the files on a computer.

EDIT: I don't have a cambridge year 11 pdf. go on google and search "year 11 cambridge scribd". The first two links should be 3u and 2u. Then download :) btw u needa make a scribd acc which is free.

Already have textbooks for a few subjects, would appreciate recommendations though

Physics (Have jacaranda 2 and phys in focus, have heard good things about dot point)
Economics (Have Tim Riley, would prefer something to supplement)
Legal Studies (Have Cambridge)
English (Do you even need one for this?)
Mathematics Extension 1/2
Mathematics
Chinese Beginners (hopefully somebody around here has done it :p )
