I'm doing actuaries and app fin at mq, that's what a 96+ ATAR course. Yes, my parents neglected me by sending me to a public school, which is the whole fucking of this thread.

Lol, you're doing general maths, who's special here? Go back to your public school shit hole do your basic arithmetic. If my child does basic maths and is in year 12, I'd put him down. But that's won't happen because I'll homeschool him.

We all know that homeschooling is much more effective than schools, especially public schools (I feel sorry for kids who have to attend nonselective public school in Western Sydney, imaging keep your child locked up with lebs and children of losers for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week...), so why aren't it more popular?

Well, not only will your parents lose some income which they want to save up for their retirement rather than spending on you anyway, they simply find their job more interesting than teaching you. And if your parents don't speak English or are so uneducated that they think the public school system would do a better job, in that case, I feel even more sorry for you.

Sure, you might argue that "I went to a non selective public in Western Sydney and got ATAR of 95", yeah but you're the rare one, doesn't change the fact that your parents didn't care about your education and left your education at your own disposal. They think that they have fulfilled their parental responsibility simply by giving that responsibility to the state, (or if your Asian, the state + some private tutoring), instead of teaching you like those real parents that actually gives shit about their parental investment in their child.

So if you go to a shitty school full time, your parents simply don't love you.

Well, I think you would be doing 4u maths had you been homeschooled from k-10? The school system, public or private, does not "push" their students.

High-achieving Year 12 students are also able to include a first-year university study in their course. This contributes to their final ATAR score, and also acts as credit towards an undergraduate course.
The Senior School Handbook contains the curriculum offered at a VCE level.​

Does hsc have a similar program like this?

No, see I've seen a shitload of trolls on BoS and here's what I think. I think you falsely believe that the BoS community harbors extreme views on education. So just for fun, I think you make these outragous posts in order to draw the community out into agreeing with you so you can have a laugh at how crazy we all are. The BoS community is very moderate/liberal when it comes to education and no one in their right mind would support the type of education you advocate.

If you're liberal, then there is should be a no issue in having different schools of thoughts on education for discussion.

It is my opinion that home schooling is the only form of responsible parental investment. Where as public school, is basicly free education presents no investment, no responsibility from the parents.
