wtf lol probs b/c of low scaling

They should offer it as an acceleration subject in years 9-10
Ruse offers accelerated ipt music ag and pe. Adding extra accelerated classes in yr 9-10 would probs be too burdensome and detract from the rigorous maths curriculum

Yeah I guess, I can't believe how they don't offer accelerated chemistry or accelerated maths (same with Baulko) but schools like Sydney boys/girls and fort street offer them

Most likely because ruse and baulko dont want to risk yr 11s achieving lower hsc marks than they would score if they were in yr 12. Sure it gives the advantage of less stress in yr 12 and more time to concentrate on a smaller number of subjects but in my experience of taking acc chem nobody gave two shts and most students just bludged each lesson. We actually ended up around 5 lessons behind the standard yr 11 classes and skipped the entire energy topic. Ruse and baulko would never want to jeopardise their hsc marks

Yeah true...wtf then what's the point of accelerated chem then?

I think some schools do an assignment task for energy (and the last module of prelim physics)

Other schools i can experiment with accelerated courses to bring up their rank while ruse and baulko have a rank to defend. Also y not see if it gives students the upper hand over the higher ranking schools?
