No worries. :) I only did it because another BOSer recommended it to me so happy to pay it forward. And it truly needs more awareness considering Astro fills like 900 spots in a couple days whilst there were only like 30 people in the GENS course when I did it.

No there were no cheat sheets for Astro. Unless you had a friend and could cross check answers. Did find a couple of past papers on the net though. The quizzes were time-consuming because weren't MCs. They were 'pick the ones that apply' and some of the options were pretty obscure so took some...

Dunno I found acct1511 really straight forward. I did acct2542 this sem and it fucking does not make sense at all. At least 3x as hard as 1511.

ACCT is easier but ECON more interesting. If you're a good student, shouldn't be too hard to get a HD in either. And yes do not do MGMT. Biggest tip in uni is to avoid all wishy washy subjects. They will kill your WAM.

i forget how good i have it until i read some of the hsc threads about burning out, stress, etc. that's is just so different to what my uni life is like now. though 4 subjects + full time work would probably kill me.

Double degree makes no difference on the workload. It just extends your time in uni. Also if you're planning to do Commerce at UNSW, prepare to have a lot of free time on your hands. HSC is probably 2x as hard.

Interesting = Macro Easier to do well in = Marketing. By farrrrr. Macro is interesting and more individual work. But it's marked extremely harshly. Most commerce courses are WAM boosters so I was really surprised. For e.g. midsem average in my class was 9/20. (Yes that is a fail average)...

Nah the 10% is still there. The govt tried to pass a bill to remove the 10% at the start on 2014 but it didn't go through. UNSW's website is just outdated.

Thanks for the tip! I've heard from quite a few people now that astronomy isn't as easy as it use to be. Can you tell me what GENS5003 involves? I can't seem to find the course outline anywhere.
