My school is ranked in the top 20 and my marks are all in the 75-85 range...Bottom half of most of my subjects ranking wise. I know what I can do to get higher marks, but I'm not sure if its still possible to achieve a 95+ atar to get into the course of my choice.

I realise that the BOS states that you should write in black or blue pen, but is writing in pencil allowed? I tend to work a lot better using pencil. If not, is there any way I can get permission to write in pencil?

I did two all nighters in a row to complete a major project. It was horrible, but worth it! Btw, I think tea keeps you up better than coffee, and a dash of milk in the tea helps prevents the caffeine jitters that you get from the tea. All in all, all nighters are definitely not recommended...

If your aiming for a 98+ ATAR, do Chemistry :) i did IPT accelerated and the HSC course is pretty much the same as the Prelim course: just a little bit added on. Its fairly easy, but I don't think it'll be worth the effort. Thats just my opinion.
