yea that method works just fine (Y) :)
and yes your teacher should be helping you with this. it's a foundation thing you need to know.
Here's what i believe is an easier method of thinking of method of sections:
- generally the toughest you'll get is three unknowns like in this question.

the scaling isn't so great unless your class average and your mark are VERY good.
in my grade we had a class average a full 19 marks above the state average so we all got scaled very well.
how well you scale is literally up to you so just forget about scaling and just work hard and the marks...
tad late, i know, but better late than never. using the civil war as a vehicle for consolidation of bolshevik power is a good idea but in my opinion it's restricting your thesis focusing just on that. there are other factors such as winning the vote of the peasants etc. think about the whole...
hey the questions in personality aren't tailored to specific people. it's always general. have a look at sample responses for other personalities or even jedgar if you can find it. the expected structure is the same. if you have any other questions or want someone to have a read of any of your...

the structure of the exam is the same.
know sketching mechanics and ethics etc. really only way to say it is a bit of everything.
consider doing all the hsc papers. they really help.
hey mate i know how you feel. a bunch of terms may start flying over your head especially in materials science.

Graduated in 2012 from Baulkham...
I've heard Rochford is good.
Copeland is quite definitive (as it's name suggests) but it lacks in certain details.
Schlenker McKern is fantastic for HSC and Prelim Mechanics
Excel didn't seem all that great to me. has some bugs
yea if you were decent at 3u or got high band 5 or band 6 in 2u you should be fine.
prepare for loads of Calculus in 1st year (I'm 1st year Mechatronics at USYD) it's pretty hectic. 1 sem of Differential and 1 sem of Integral.

you will be introduced to concepts that...
hey guys,
Copeland (or "The New Testament" as we called it) is pretty decent in that he'll cover all the main points. However he doesn't go into too much detail.
See if you can find Schlenker's Materials Science Textbook as Copeland lacks a lot of depth in that field.
Go through the dotpoints of...
