I thought it was a pretty good paper. I just think the B.O.S must love making up dull writing questions though. The first thing my class discussed when we got out was how boring they were. Oh well... Extension tomorrow. Fingers crossed its not too bad.
The one thing my english teacher was stressing at the end of last term was to use more imagery - similes etc. The thing with creative writing is most people can establish a fairly good atmosphere etc from using appropriate verbs/adjectives but if you can tack on an appropriate simile at the end...
My english teacher had to make a point of drumming the idea that you can't use "I" out of our heads because that's how we'd been taught up until year 11. Obviously its only relevant to certain questions but you can say "I" etc...
