I got 95.60 which is exactly what I wanted, I've met the conditions for my med offer so I'm over the moon!! I can't believe my 69 Ext 2 mark actually counted towards my ATAR and not 85 physics... according to HSCNinja the last time that would have happened was 2009.

kinda devo about english, my internals were all in the 90s so to get hit by that 85 feels rough... we'll see how I feel tomorrow but I just need a 95 atar and its looking like if I don't get it, I should be close (and I get EAS) :D 93 Bio 89 Chem 85 Physics 85 English Advanced 81...

Pretty sure all the booklets contain different combinations of questions anyway - that's why you have to record your booklet number. Chances are if you thought the answers were wrong as you copied them, they were.

Just quietly, there's a whole bunch of studies done on the fact that natural talent doesn't exist (and a whole bunch of books eg The Talent Code). Sure, there may be some genetic factors, but hard work and discipline will win out over any natural aptitude!

I have discussed it with my teacher; she's fine with it if I can find evidence & make sophisticated arguments :)

I realise this thread is from 2009 but I'm working through the same question and can't figure out why the -3/x becomes just 3/x. If anyone can explain it that would be amazing! :D

Do you think getting in contact with universities early helps with getting into courses? UNSW has a rural clinical school right near where I live & so I'm trying to figure out if it will make me seem motivated or pushy to try to get into contact with them. & has anyone got any tips on...
