Have you considered applying for another course that has a lower entry requirement, doing well for a semester or 2, then transferring to planning? Preferably a course which has 1st year units similar to the 1st year units of planning, so you can get some exemptions...
Their website says the 2010 cutoff was 80.05.

I'm only a part timer now, i was full time & then some (6 x 9 hour shifts a week) for most of the 2 years.
I haven't been told about or seen any increases in my pay over the years. I suppose it's possible they slipped in without my noticing. It's hard to tell exactly since my shift goes...
funny part is that i recently dropped down to part time to start uni (18 hrs a week).
If i went on holiday now, i'd still be on leave 13 weeks later. I'm never going to get rid of this holiday time by using it :p.
I suppose it doesn't matter that much. I'm not really planning on staying at...

there is NO preferred course to lead to graduate med. ANY degree will get you considered equally. do NOT under any circumstances choose biomed because you think it will give you a better chance of getting into med...
I'd say your chances are pretty good.
Just as an example:
I left high school after year 10 (about 8 years ago)
I'm 23 now. (So a mature age student)
I completed a diploma of IT (programming) after highschool
I applied for uni as a mature age student with nothing more than that diploma and a...
