I put in annotated research, thoughts on work (from first term only), a couple of early brainstorms, a few paper drafts and a CD with my other drafts on it.
Only memorisation of a response I did was for EE1 story (I memorised some poetry I made/integrated for the piece, as I had to write it at home to make sure it was good).

Whatever you want (it also doesn't have to be on a 'text' - it can be on a genre, a trope or something else like that). I focussed on one novel (but with one text, you've got to make sure it's a deep analysis).
No scope is fine (as long as you keep the right plot). BUT. Be very, very, very careful of what you will do with 'teenage girls.' There is a lot of risk in writing a story which may branch into teen angst stuff (as some markers hate it, and often it is done very poorly). It has been done before...
