I was about to write down something about the camera but then I read the question closely and it said the camera captured the whole trajectory, so I scrapped that. So i'm not sure
What is considered 'hard' totally depends on the individual.
For some people, economics may be a breeze but they might find general maths to be hard. For some mathematicians, maths ext 2 may be ez but they might find chemistry to be a nightmare. It all depends on the individual doing the...
Paper 1 was actually not too bad. It's weird how they didn't have any 2 markers in the SA but there's basically no difference haha.
SA was pretty good (fav. section)
Creative prompt was pretty weird, having 2 perspectives of discovery. Hopefully the markers are more lenient.
Essay was alright as...
Just do well in all your subjects and you will definitely get >80 ATAR. Doing low scaling subjects will not hinder your ATAR or anything; as long as you ace them, you can definitely get any atar you want :)
If you are uninterested in physics then go ahead and drop it. Sure, you may be ranked first, but if you don't enjoy the subject then it will be a pain to study for it in yr 12.
For me personally, I dropped engineering in year 11 even though I was ranked 4/80 ish because I found engineering to...
Hello! I have some questions on how to prepare for the HSC for 2u and 3u.
How many past papers did you attempt for both subjects?
Did you focus solely on hsc past papers or did you utilise trial papers as well?
If you did use trial papers, which schools would be the best to use? (Sydney...
Hello!
I just have a question regarding typed vs. handwritten study notes for the HSC. With the trials coming up, I've decided to rewrite my study notes to make them more concise and neat and whatnot. Until now, all my notes have been handwritten, but lately I've been wondering whether typed...
Hi everyone!
Will you please help me with this question:
The points A (−6, -9) and B(u,v) lie on the parabola x^2 =-4ay such that AB is a normal to the parabola at B.
(i) Find the value of a.
(ii)Given the roots of x^3 − 28x + 48 = 0 are −6, 2, 4, find the coordinates of B.
I can't...
basically the piezoelectric effect is the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy (ultrasound/sound waves) and vice versa.
To produce ultrasound, you put a piezoelectric crystal (a material that basically demonstrates the piezoelectric effect) through an electrical field, which...
Ahhhh the good ol' engineering report XD
So basically from what I learned in prelim in an engineering report you should have have the following: (this is just from the top of my head so it's not a definite guide or anything)
Title Page - should include title of report, school, name etc...
Hello everyone,
just a quick question here, I understand that many of the essay questions in the hsc exam stem from the "students learn to" part of the syllabus, but are ALL the dot points under the "students learn to" sub-heading potential essay questions or are there only specific ones? Is...
Yeah just be careful with these type of trick questions. Always remember that the speed of light is constant in EVERY frame of reference, regardless of the motion of the observer. If you look at question 6 in the 2016 hsc physics paper, the question is kind of similar to this one.
