yeah i got into harvard but on an athletic pathway

women in engineering ones. i got a call yesterday and then an email today

i got called yesterday arvo telling me i got the ones i applied for

i had a 94 in eco.. my internal was apparently an 86

i’m actually so pissed about my internals. i’m at a top 10 selective school, and i had a 7 mark difference in bio (between exam and assessment) , 8 marks in eco, 4 marks in eng adv and 5 marks in math, where they all dragged me down. i don’t know what’s going onnnnn everyone said selective...

i got 48 too and i know about 2 other people from my school did so i wouldn’t be too hopeful

it’s actually a myth that it perfectly swaps around. it’s usually on a bell curve, and if there are abnormalities that means the bell curve can possibly shift

nothing bad, but just stuff you don’t get at more competitive selective schools (vaping and light drugs) and a little more party culture. a lot less asians proportionally might be the reason for that tho.

i got into manly and chose not to go because its not that good anymore. its become closer to a public school in terms of discipline issues. in my opinion choose a more north shore selective school if you can (nsg/nsb, hornsby or normo) or a private school if thats an option
