Getting a UAI of 99 is equivalent to being placed in the top 1% of the state, getting a 100 is equivalent to being 'the top' of the state; approx. 18/20 ppl will get a UAI of 100 each year, it certainly is not 500; sorry bud. G'luck though

Yeh it was pretty decent for a 2U exam; especially considering the last few years, which were just getting harder and harder. Didn't get 100% though; couldnt prove that the two triangles in question 10 were similar?! but i did the rest. Did anyone work out how to prove the two triangles were...

Exactly, whoever it was going on about all that crap that DIDN'T have to do with the Q was just going over board. Though its nice to show knowledge, markers don't wanna read pages that don't relate to the question.

Its bloody tough to compare; there's >60,000 students, not everyone can get a band 6! Only 10% can but ppl always think bcoz its hsc its possible bcoz there up against ppl from 'other schools'. Meh. We'l see sooner or later A: 18.5+/20 B: 17+ C: 17+ our school; 10th in the state:) hehe

From what my teacher told me in the past, they don't mark u down, they simply ignore it - so hopefully ur first two were good!

Yeh if your going well in everything else it should be fine.. if the rest of your cohort is strong enough. BTW check out the SAM calc, its suprisingly good. A friend typed in his real HSC marks from two years ago + it was only off by .5! G'luck 4 everything else

How come ur accelerated if u arnt getting at least 105/120? Do you also do 3U this year?

Got 89%, which is a bit annoying b/c pre-trial mark was 98, big drop, but that test was TOUGH. Came 2nd i think..yay I highly recommend doing past papers if you guys find it difficult doing these questions in exam format. Also, looking at as many different types of questions before the exam...

Just sour b/c u couldnt get it.. i think i may have gotten it out. w/out giving too much away - u need to relate the first part with a 'sum'..... ..... Definately a tough 2 unit, no question! 98% i think NOT! But "Rankings that count" (still hurts)
