Dropped one subject just to avoid a clash. What happens anyway when people have clashes? Since my clashes are BOTH lectures only offered during those times, I assume they just let me choose whichever one I want to go too?
Yeah that's what I was thinking, so lecture theatres doesn't count as Teaching Laboratories? I wouldn't want to skip tomorrow to only find out that the lecture did go on
Can anyone confirm if this email sent by Chemistry people means there's no lectures tomorrow?
Dear Students,
Please be advised that due to industrial action by the CPSU and NTEU on Thursday 7 March, the School of Chemistry will close all Teaching Laboratories on this day for Work Health and...
I didn't do HSC Chemistry and the Chem supplementary course and I still did CHEM1101 and CHEM1102. Just passed both subjects (but then again I barely studied for it even during exams, crammed like a whole semesters worth of content in 2days?). Its a bit hard but you can certainly pass the course...
Changed subjects for second year:
1st sem: MATH2961, MATH2962. CHEM2401. CHEM2404
2nd sem: MATH2965, MATH2970, CHEM2402, CHEM2403
Might change back to all maths for second semester if I don't do as good as I hope I will on the first semester chem units ==''
Looking forward to a more awesome...
Cause so far I have 3 Advanced Math units on 1st semesters and CHEM2401 then 4 Advanced Math Units for 2nd semester. It feels like there's too much pressure having more than at least 3 advanced math subjects per semester o.o
Guys, if I change the subjects I enrolled for during pre-enrolment does it automatically get approved? Does it take a long process to change units? I wouldn't want to change subjects to only realise that I would need to change back since subjects I changed into didn't get approved.
**Changing...
Mine decreased by 3-5 points. And I did absolutely NOTHING last semester for maths and got mid credits, and when I decided to put in some effort to studying, I got lower marks. I smell some conspiracy with either the marking schemes or the scaling for advanced students!
I felt like MATH1903 and MATH1905 gave really REALLY low marks as oppose to the 1st semester subjects. I did considerably better in the 2nd semester subjects and barely got a credit :S
I'm just wondering if you really need biology/mblg units to do good on pcol2011/2012? Any tips to do good on these subjects would be appreciated as well :)
I've done this subject last semester and I can safely say that if you think this is the subject that needs NO to VERY MINIMAL amount of studying then this is not a subject for you. Unless you're a major/minor in IT or quite confident in designing websites and what-not, it will take a lot more...
Got a credit for Math1901/1902 :D So happy about it! I just got around 50% from quizzes/assignment, and probably 50% on exams as well :) So happy!!! Need to be more studious this coming semester cause I just studied on the night before the exams :P
