I'm currently doing a combined commerce degree but I want to explore other interests that are not related to my degree that I may or may not one day turn into a career. I'm thinking of enrolling into either the certificate III in design fundamentals (architectural technologies) at ultimo part...
I'm considering of doing a Comm/Design(hons) degree but I was wondering if we get free electives/general education courses in most of the combined commerce courses? I consulted the handbook but it didn't say anything about free electives e.t.c.
I want to do linguistics and a foreign language...
How demanding is a double degree compared to a single degree(i.e. computer science/arts vs B computer science) and would that mean that I get no free electives if I did pick a double degree and it would be impossible to study something outside science and arts?
Would you say that a double major...
How neat is your work when you hand-write?
I'm not too neat(actually overly messy) but I have friends with such neat notes and work and spend a lot of time doing it.
Is it worth the time to be neat in your opinion?
OK sure... SO I just do textbook questions?
And then move on to past papers?
Sure... Btw, how much homework does everyone get for maths?

I've heard all kinds of different things from different people in regards to "how to study" and all that... Especially for maths- despite practice, I only got 45% in my last 2 exams.

I've never been good at public speaking so it is difficult for me to speak for so long in Japanese.
Could anyone give me some help/advice?

Also, why can a universal motor use either AC or DC without any adaptation of its structure and why will an AC motor spin at a constant speed?
I know there are other threads like this but...
I've heard different news from different people about how school marks determine your chances of getting band 6. Some say that it isn't over until the HSC but others say otherwise. Would it really matter if you did badly (like around 60%~ and...
I get tired easily and can't do work after school as a result. When I get home, I feel so tired and I try to take a nap but I can't fall asleep. This is the same at night- I'm a bit of a night owl and can't fall asleep quickly. Plus, I wake easily so I find it hard to concentrate at school due...
