I've checked the handbook and it looks like for a major in financial maths + stats u need to study:
1st year: MATH 1901, 1902, 1903, 1905 = 12 units
2nd year: STAT2911, 2912 MATH 2961, 2970 = 24 units
3rd year: STAT 3911, 3912 MATH 3975 + one elective = 24 units
so this adds up to...

a) 5*A where A = area = .05*.1 square metres
you dont multiply by the number of turns-remember this is only important when u work out the emf, i.e. the next question

b) induced emf = rate of change in flux * number of turns

i was just wondering, the new core unit ECOF1010 Business and Economic Statistics A-Advanced , is that interchangeable with ECMT 1010, the non advanced version?
in the handbook they're listed as 'prohibitions' of each other, i assume that means if you do one you're not supposed to...
same here. i'm guessing thats cos im doing combined law so they dont know if im doing science yet. maybe same situation for u guys?
