Re: BAcc 2008... You'll be a certainty with a 95+, but going by history and my grade, you should still make it with a 90ish+ UAI...although that isn't 100% certain...im not sure exactly how it works, but people in my year have UAI's between 90-95. Congrats to those who got in!...ill see some...

Re: BAcc 2008... To those that asked if you can reapply for round 2 if you got rejected for round 1- unfortunately i dont think you can. As for the Pro's of BAcc as opposed to a cadetship; i guess there both great opportunities, but the life of a BAcc is fun, easier and you get a great...

Re: BAcc 2008... Hmm im a first year, and there were originally 41 of us selected. Hmm extra curriculars-the normal sorta highschool stuff-sport, debating, prefect....i didn't really do anything too fancy. in terms of uai, i dont want to give you all the wrong impression...BACC is...

Re: BAcc 2008... Hmm as a first year, the first semester is 4 days a week, not 5. Its 15hrs, 3hrs for each of the 5 subjects. So yeah, it is abit more intense then the normal bachelor's degree, but in saying tht, quite a few of the first year bacc's have part time work. Its manageable. Haha...

UNSW vs. UTS which is better Must decide quickly!!

true true, i doubt any bacc's will actually bother doing postgrad law when the time comes around, having work secured and experience and all. Also agree UNSW is the better uni...but i think a course like bacc at uts trumps over unsw business degrees!....really depends on how much you want to do...
  13. R

bus/law at UTS or BCom at UNSW

hmm depends if u really need law....but a bus/law degree from uts would be percieved as the better outa the two...for my carreer, if i had the choice, id definately move!...but if u like bcom, stick it out?

UNSW vs. UTS which is better Must decide quickly!!

Oo but if you did want to pursue a career in IB at a top firm...wouldnt BAcc + Grad Law at Sydney still be a better combo? I mean bacc > bcom and sydney law> unsw law by general reputation and all...soo in highly competitve positions like IB id assume theydd prefer the bacc/usyd law combo!...and...
