I have another question that I'm stuck on guys: Differentiate: 3/[4(2x+7)^9] I could do it if it didn't have the 3/4 in it but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Find the coordinates of point Q where the tangent to the curve y=(5x^2)-3x is parallel to the line 7x-y+3=0. I keep getting the answer Point Q: (-2/5, 2) but the BOB says the answer is (1,2)... What am I doing wrong?

Yes the H paper did have the 117 answer question but so did the Year 12 (J) Paper.

It was question 40 on the H paper so you might not have had it. I can't really remember much about it so I'm being very vague...

What did people get for the question involving the rug?

Didn't you learn factor trees in year 7? And if not it isn't too difficult to know that 13 is a factor of 117 and then (117-13)/2 =52.

I made a=13. Then I decided that the two multiples of 13 that would add to 117 and give the highest product were 52 and 52. 13+52+52=117. 13x52x52=35152. Was this question in paper J? Cause it was in Paper H.

What was the answer to that question with a,b,c that had a sum of 117 and something else..?

Is the J Paper much harder than H?

I did Paper H but I did have that question about the cylinder and the rectangular prism. I think my answer was a radius of 4. I thought the question asked for the radius...
