The question doesn't ask for when it doesn't rain, it asks for "the probability that it rains on fewer than 3 days", which shouldn't include zero days since no rain occurs :detective:

How so? The question explicitly asks this: "probability that it rains on fewer than 3 days". Zero days means that no rain occurs, hence should not be included in your expression. It's flawed, flawed hard... *inserts formal complaint*
