You do have a point there. Note taking should be done in class, but hey, whats the harm of making notes in your spare time? Also if it works for you then thats fine ^_^

I used to be in 2 Unit and now whenever l get a question wrong l get so angry because l feel like l should have gotten it right. I am the highest in my class (the entire grade) so l don't think that there is anything to stress about!

l am not going to pity you, any of you who haven't studied or whatever. I try and do some maths every afternoon, about an hour. I sometimes even go ahead in my studies. The only person you have to blame is yourself.

Maybe you should sit down with your teacher one lunchtime, or maybe two. Maybe you should buy another textbook or have a good look through your own textbook and practise, practise, practise! try getting a tutor, one night a week, not too much to ask.

If l were you l would complain. My mum said that if l had this science teacher in year 9 for year 10 or during my HSC she would go ape sh!t. Its not right, this is YOUR future, not theirs, you deserve a good education.

That is EXACTLY what my tutor and my teacher for 2 Unit said to me!! I couldn't understand anything in 2 Unit at the start of the year so l took their advice and dropped...now l'm the highest in the grade. Also if you go for a job or whatever the first thing they look at is the mark, not...

Also try buying excel books and maybe another textbook on maths that has all the topics you are doing. I bought another year 11 general maths text book and guess what, l'm the highest in my class (in other words the entire year). Also jess is right, don't look in the back of the textbooks...

I am like you tiger.....(fgo the eels! :P) I was in 2 Unit at the start of this year and l didn't understand any of it. I found myself guessing most of the answers I dropped down and it is SO DAMN EASY!! Its all the stuff l did in advanced in year 9. Most of the other people in my year 11...

a good mark to me would be 60-80 and excellent mark would be 80+.

23.5%....yes yes this is serious. I haven't grasped chemistry like you all have, l just don't understand it, like moles etc.!
