They won't include the second additional text in the marking, but they won't deduct marks for including it. Which means that people who wrote more on ONE text will get better marked if they wrote more about their one addition text, than someone who wrote less, and then wrote about another one...
I don't think that's fair at all! I can understand if the additional second text is not marked, but if they deduct marks for misreading the question than that is not right. Anyway, I answered the question about 'understanding' but accidently misread the part saying ONE text, so you can't say I...
I wrote about my set text, and TWO additional texts. Then got out of the exam and realised that BOS only asked for one of my additional ones. So I stuffed up. I could have written so much more but spent freaking 15 minutes on that last text. :(
