Another thing, when i look here:
http://arc.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/standards-packs/SP02_15400/
the exemplars don't really have introductions that introduce what they're going to talk about exactly, and our art teacher says we should have 3 body paragraphs, whereas a lot of the papers on this...
Hey all,
Does eeryone really spend 45 on each section? I sometimes find that I run out of things to talk about in Section I... should I just try and persist with 45 mins or spend it on the essay instead?
Also, how do you all structure the short answers? Do you both with introductions...
Cool, thanks guys :)
Also, can anyone explain how marks in the last section are allocated? Is it 4 techniques and then 1 mark for how you explain it or..? is it just kind of the standard of your answer...?
Hey all,
Are we supposed to write in sentences for Section I? Do they have to be nicely written like: 'The visual text 'Many Ways to Belong' conveys a perspective...' or do we just get straight into the technique?
Thanks :)
I just read this on my timetable for tomorrow's exam:
'This exam starts at the special time of 11.20am.
Students will complete their responses to Question 1 in a personalised Section I writing booklet. Further information will be available in 'My Messages' later in Term 2.'
Does anyone...
If they ask for 2 related texts... are we supposed to write about all three equally, or have half of it on as you like it and the other half on the other two?
Hey all,
I realise that the mandatory topic is 'Music of the Last 25 years (Australian focus)'.
I have two pieces that fit this topic out of my core and 2 elective pieces.
I have a piece called 'Movements' by Stephen Yates (Australian) and another called 'Oh So Insistent' by Andrew Bird...
Hey all,
So, teachers have been giving past HSC essay questions to me as we've been completing topics at school since Term 4.
I feel like I haven't really had a chance to do any yet.
Is this really bad? How often do you all do practice papers? Also, how do you get faster at writing essays..?
Hey all,
Is anyone doing (or has done) "The Female of the Species" for costume design and could provide some examples? Or alternatively, share things like the rationale or interesting snippets of log?
Thanks!!
Hey all, three questions:
1. If you're doing costume design, can you change the period/setting of the play so that the costumes are a little different? Or do you have to design to the period and setting that the play was written?
2. Is it possible to do just as well if you are designing costumes...
Hey :)
I was wondering what you all think is better - an ensemble piece with a number of different accompanists that play a fairly minor role, or an ensemble piece where the other instruments are just as important/only slightly less important than you as the performer?
Many thanks!
