    Chemistry paper thoughts

Also, is the marking similar to maths where they would read crossed out answers? Seems i got close to one of the calculations but I accidentally crossed it out :<

    2016 HSC Chemistry Exam Predictions

Yep. The concentrations found are halved anyway using c = n/v AFAIK they don't test for every dot point, as in 2015 there were no AAS questions. off-topic: for some reason, a study guide said to divide the indicies by the volume i.e. if its like 2A + B <-> C + D with 10 L, It would be like...

Does the petrochemical industry rely on thermal or catalytic cracking?

I thought thermal cracking was more effective for alkanes which are longer than 25C? However it's probably more expensive due to the amount/cost of energy for the high temps. Ahmad Shah:  This [Catalytic Cracking] process uses less heat than THERMAL cracking, but it cannot decompose large...

How do teachers find out if work is plagiarised ?

idk i've heard they had some kind of application/website which they can check work to see if its exactly the same writing styles could also be identified

    Line of best fit

Actually, if I recall correctly, I've gotten marked down for connecting the dots rather than a line of best fit in a line graph -.-

    Line of best fit

its interesting since the marking guidelines specify "a line of best fit". Where as I'm not sure that's a line of best fit at all. I would've thought the line graph would just be adjacent connecting the dots too, but am always hearing about how that's frowned upon, and it has to be a line of...

    Line of best fit

I'm still confused on how markers want us to do a line of best fit. 2015's Q22a) has dots all over the place. The MG shows its just a smoothed out connect the dots line. Any ideas on how it should be generally done?

    Business Studies Exam Thoughts

Circled casual then crossed it out. Thought 66 year old was more expensive due to inefficiencies and needs for benefits. Pregnancy one was so bait I fell for it. I circled EEO but it's Sex Discrimination.

    EAS application rejected.

Actually my issue was that it was less than 6 months. EAS specifically says long-term, but I'm wondering if it's possible to still get bonus points, especially since it was doing my trials - a significant portion of my HSC.
