Aye, but isnt that "relatively elastic" and "relatively inelastic". Just came across this term "perfectly elastic/inelastic", and I don't see where it could apply.

Not usually, no. I think the top HSC mark for each subject tends to stay the same in most cases, regardless of the raw mark. Not positive about that though.

I used to get that in year 8, you would have hoped people would have learned to think for themselves by the time they're legally allowed to drive to the supermarket and buy a knife. Almost as bad is the people who ask all the time "Is this going to be in the exam?"

Lots of schools have that. Our school has to continue 1unit photography/psychology etc. until week 3 of term 4, as thats when we change our subjects for year 12. It's really not a big deal, just go to the class and relax for a couple of hours of your life.

Just to add on what insert-username said, it isn't scary at all. When they say you can't fail the course, doesnt mean you can't get <50. You could get 20% for the course and still you're allowed through, as long as you gave a decent attempt to all of your tasks. Just don't get more than one N...
