Hehe, Miller has been loaned out to Leeds. It seems Keano gets his wish. I thought Miller was a player of promise when he wore Hoops. Perhaps the championship might see that form back

Australia's qualification to the World Cup (Analysis)

$160 B class. I dont care. I just wish I got on football-family. But at least I get to go now. Everyone should love Keane. But why Forest? And btw, with all the talk about refs, who is doing the first leg? if they are argentinian...

Perhaps you females are so ignorant. Keane chooses not to play for Ireland- to protest, for the eventual betterment of his country Viera chooses not to play for Senegal- to be a "traitor". Differences in circumstances? Check. Go out and get drunk. At least you would make me jealous...

Its got to be a player whos consistently got a bagful against Samoa et al. Archie Thompson? Damian Mori? I know Archie got 8 in one game, but I'll put my money on Mori as a long shot. I remember a couple of hat tricks against Fiji/Tonga/Kiribati/Some islander nation for him, so Mori. My...

Australia's qualification to the World Cup (Analysis)

Yeah, but the problem is that Uruguay will be doing this also. I cant see it being down to who wants it more, but the formation and strategy each team employs, and how well they carry them out. Having Guus is a massive advantage, i think I would consider this impossible with Frankie, bless him.

I'd say its Warney. If they arent afeared for his bowling, then they are at the prospect of their wives getting SMSed.

On your other points, historically and in the present spurs actually have a massive supporter base in london and internationally. you cant really argue that we arent a big club based on that. performances indicate the level of the squad assembled and the skill of the managment and players. i...

lmao. I'm sure McGrath and Warney shit themselves at the prospect of bowling to Inzy. Stoopid americans.

making a career orientated move doesn't disprove a feel of passion for my country. i'm sure the same goes for any african player who's playing for a european country. That maybe so. But if I were on a $100000 weekly salary, I would turn down a million dollars just to get the chance to...

I found someone who bulked up on tickets through football family, and he sold me one.

We get Spanish refs at home instead of Belgians. Im not sure what to make of this just yet, except that the Spanish bloke must be glad not to ref in Turkey after he sent 2 Fener players off midweek. AND I GOT MY TICKETS TODAY!!!

Dario Silva pops up and is dangerous around the edge of the 18 yard box, but I'm glad we dont have to see Forlan. Yeah, but its not showing that you do have passion for Australia. I would rather peel oranges and warm the bench for the Socceroos than play first XI for any other nation...

I believe I said it first... And since I made that comment, yes, i think they do need another striker. I was counting on that money going to Celtic.

Sorry mate. Not intentional. Just a conceptration lapse. See what what happens when you have too many Pool supporters congregating in the one place :p Feel free to get my name wrong to make up for it. Just be original, ok? If you were a world class player, would you abandon Australia...

It wasnt hypocrisy. The decisions made by Messrs Viera and Keane were made in two very different circumstances. Keane was questioning Viera's patriotism- something Keane is proud of having. Keano is proud of being Irish, and the notion that a man would turn his back to go to another country...

Shit, its not that dire. Sir Alex needs to make sure January is a good one... or he should leave. Yeah, damn straight! :) I love your stories Its not the same situation tho- Keane wouldnt have turned his back on Ireland and played for England to further his career and glory. Now...

Comiserations. Jeez they have some form from set pieces though. I was going for Munich as well. Brugge arent far behind, but you'll make it to the second round. If Makaay was in the lineup, it would have been away points. And 100 A-league goals? Thats up already? That means its averaging...

Hehe, Mourinho and Wenger should take it to the boxing ring: Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has threatened to continue the war with Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger if he does not stop his verbal attacks on the Blues. Before last weekend's Premiership fixtures, Wenger suggested Chelsea's...
