um... there are 2 main places u can get food at mq: the main food court, or upstairs bar. The bar serves nicer food dat mainly come in a plate, but costs abit more. Food court's got alot of everything ranging from chinese food (and get food poisoned), hamburgers, make ur own sandwiches etc...

I think Isaac would wanna sell his stuff too when he returns from holiday. I never use my books and keep in really good condition, so I never sell em coz i feel so ripped.

ye but u get a date allocated according to your last name. eg. A-C go on monday and D-F go on tues etc. They say they provide a certain quota for each day so people with "later" last names have equal chance, but from personal experience that was bs.

ye do em 2gether in sem1. Abit of extra work in sem1, but feel much better in sem2. For acst101 and econ111, there are separate lecture times. You do your midsemester exams or class tests in those lectures. You'll only get like 2hrs extra study time, but that might be helpful. The main good...

it's only in comp u goto a computer lab and do weekly exercises which are online they stop marking the role after a few weeks and most ppl juz go home and do it...if they do it...since they never get marked but prac teachers are at labs to help if u are stuck Comp has assignments due...

actually ur concentration will go out the door after 20minutes my advice to to squeeze everything together. But here's the BEST advice ur gonna get: For math133, your class tests are held in ur tute, so choose the latest time possible. Most other class tests are held in lecture hall, so...

that's good man if you have breaks in the middle, you end up wasting it anyway after 1 yr's experience, i prefer to go in, get it done with and leave

100, 200 etc are levels. The higher the number, the higher the level. Usually they will match what year you are in. But not always. If you are in 2nd yr, u can still choose to take out elective that's 100 for eg. And acst211 is another example of this. But generally they indicate the years.

depends wat u wanna major in. If actuarial is your main goal and commerce is something you wanna have under ur belt for a backup, I'd still go with mq. If you wanna major in something else and think hey i might try out actuarial for fun of it, but wont prolly pursue it..then perhaps u'd like...

we've had this discussion too many times... my view is that mq is far better if you don't have a scholarship with unsw... but it's up to you mate. Mq is world renowned for its actuarial. Almost all current FIAA's in the work force in aus are mq graduates...if they are gonna hire, they'll know...

no there will not be mq advisory boothes at the beach =/ ye u dont hafta goto lectures, you can goto certain rooms for ur course and ask the advisors. They'll be mainly lecturers and tutors teaching that course.
