I reckon! it didnt turn up til like a day later...
ended up just checking the normal society and culture thread instead, but no one had posted anything about it.
Its like no one cares about soc! </3
haha
I was so happy when we first had to go through the exam to check all the pages are there blah blah blah and I saw what the essay questions were! I turned to my friend and we both had looks of utter joy on our faces haha :D. was honestly expecting the test to be harder. the short answer questions...
What did everyone think of the exam?
I was quite thrilled with it personally.
Thought it was much easier then what I was expecting.
Here's hoping I get band 6! :)
No we don't ever actually find out.
The only way you would know is if you got accepted into your desired uni course, despite having lower marks than required.
Educational Access Scheme.
For people who have had disadvantages to their year 11/12 schooling. Illness, financial difficulties, moving schools several times during yr 11 and 12, immigrants etc.
Talking to my career's advisor, the highest amount of ATAR points they would ever give is 4.
And that is for severe circumstances.
Which majorly sucks.
They mostly add 1 or 2 ATAR points if at all. Most don't even get accepted :S
It is a silly system I think.
I'm just praying that I won't...
Exactly. Hence I believe him when he tells me he's straight. It's called experimenting for a reason. Maybe he was just curious and now realises that he's definitely straight.
I dunno, I try not to delve into it too much with him. It's kinda a touchy subject.
lol probably.
but i honestly believe him when he says he isn't.
meh who knows.
though the girl he is with now would refuse to ever date a guy who has done stuff with other guys. She tends to go on about it a lot :S
Of course she has no idea what happened. No one does except the two of them and...
Didn't happen to me, but I witnessed a very *ahem* full on sexual encounter between two of my best male friends
one's straight, the other gay, but guess who came onto who? The straight one of course :S
he still adamantly states that he is 100% straight though. and that that event only...
Ahh k. Thanks :)
makes sense. yeah my school chose whether we were in adv or std based on our sc results, and our rankings at the end of year 10. Some people were not happy. lol
my group were going to have a massive bonfire after the hsc, though apparently now there is a total fire ban til the end of summer.
kinda puts a dampen on our end of year celebrations :mad1:
who knows what we'll do with our notes now.
I've always been told that the highest you can get in standard is a band 5.
They don't give band 6's.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I have always heard.
i think this exam was fairly easy.
a lot easier than the past hsc papers i had been practicing with.
what the hell was with that question about the government though?!?!
and it was worth 4 marks :S
