does it matter what course you do for the one year? i would assume it had to be somewhat tied to medicine or science..but i'm looking for confirmation of this
i just realized that i forgot to draw a diagram in the electroplating question! but other than that i liked the option section...it was easier than expected for me (considering i only started studying for the option a couple of days ago)
it was better than i expected although it is extension 2 so was still hard..
i spent way too much time doing the integration question..i kept doing it in complicated ways which just went haywire...but i eventually got there...the rest was ok
for some reason i couldn't get the one marker on the...
hi,
the lady who supervised our english exams just told us to not waste time filling in the information..she let us do it in the end after the exam before we signed out....so i guess just ask the supervisor before hand
btw...i don't think there are any specific requirements for uni entry regarding subject choices (they are usually recommendations) unless you're applying for early entry...but just check with the different courses as they may be different for the ones you want to apply for..so don't quote me on this
hi,
last year i was in the same situation as you...i did the three sciences, english advanced, maths ext1 and business...i also wanted to pick up ext2 as i enjoy maths but this would mean i would need to drop somehting...science is my love so i was not going to let go of any of them which left...
don't we all say that after exams?
i did felicks skrzynecki and st pats...now that i think of it i should have used the extra time to talk about another poem but i just went into more detail in the two poems
hi,
there is a common proof that has come up quite often in past trial and hsc questions :
prove:

HI! Thank-you so much!
I've been looking for these everywhere! since i'm the only 4u student in my school my maths teacher told me that he would lend me his solution book....but he says i have it when i KNOW i gave it to him...so now 2 weeks before the exam i'm stranded!

for belonging?
sorry no, i just hope they are good questions and texts, if not i know that most people doing the exam will feel the same way about it since everyone wouldn't have much practice on belonging section 1
thanks guys..i was worried about that but i guess -may-cat- is right, you would get quick at it.
my main concern was for maths as there are so many booklets per question but those are after my english exams so hopefully by then i will be quick.
HI
i was just wondering if in the exams you will get a few minutes before hand to write your candidate number on different booklets..
during my trial i made the mistake of leaving writing my number and book numbers till the end.. since it was only a trial teachers let you just write your number...

reduction - oxidation reactions (what the whole topic is about)
reduction occurs when a species gains electrons
oxidation occurs when a species looses electrons
thus in a redox reaction, electrons are lost from one thing and then gained by another --> electron transfer reaction
Galvani
his work with the frog legs was the first experiment that generated an electric current , however his conclusions about animal electricity were wrong
IMPACT: he initiated other scientists (ie volta) to experiment further

hi
i'm having a little trouble understanding the half equations for the electrolysis of water:
from the table of standard potenstials the two equations involving water are:
02 + 4H+ +4e- --> 2H2O (E0 = 1.23V)
2H2O + 2e- --> H2 + 2OH- (E0 = -0.83V)
for the half...
hi thanks:
i first used:
da/dt = da/dr . dr/dt to get dr/dt = da/dt / da/dr
then subed this into :
dv/dt = dv/dr . dr/dt
