have you test driven one? I haven't driven an NC and I know it's a bit bigger but I really wouldn't want to be 6'1" in the NB. I am 5'11" and with the seat all the way back it is marginally not enough
you just press the accelerator and brake with your right foot and then once you let the clutch out and light em up you can move your left to the brake to get better control
depends how good your tires and brakes are but generally unless you really give it some it will just stay at the stall speed. Isn't your hilux is a manual we are talking autos here bru?
make sure she is heaps wet, also the angle makes a huge difference, I have found that if you try and go in at a like 45 degree angle rather than more vertical it is easier.
my friend couldn't work out why when he put the handbrake on on his car it didn't lock the rear wheels and i was like m8 its a rwd car you have to press the clutch in
accelerator and brake will just raise revs to stall point (unless you moving in which case I can't recommend it), accelerating with handbrake on will either roll and put a heap of strain on the handbrake or drag the back wheels, depending on how grippy the surface is/how good your handbrake is.
